CEO:
Carolyn Michaelis-Moe, BSN, MPA, has an extensive history in the health care profession. She earned a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Health Care from Golden Gate University, San Francisco and has worked in Home Care and Hospice for many years. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia Union College. While working in Home Care and Hospice, Carolyn identified many needs of her patients that were not addressed by Medicare reimbursed programs. In 1992, Carolyn founded Parent Care Management Services, evolving into a team of professionals, consisting of Registered Nurses and Social Workers, as well as experienced administrative assistants who all work together to take care of any and all details of their client’s lives. As CEO of Parent Care Management Services, Carolyn brings an extensive amount of knowledge & understanding of the field of geriatric care management. In 2009, Carolyn earned a certification from the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.
Carolyn Michaelis-Moe values memberships in the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Inland Association for Continuity of Care, Inland Empire Estate Planning Council and is a board member of the local California Care Planning Council. Parent Care Management Services Inc offers preceptorships to nursing students from Loma Linda University and provides them with multiple learning experiences.
Carolyn enjoys gardening, singing, and caring for her Basset Hound rescue dogs.
GERIATRIC CARE MANAGERS
Ranah Saxelby RN, graduated with an AS Degree in Nursing from Pasadena City College. She worked at City of Hope Cancer Hospital for 15 years where she was involved with autologous bone marrow transplants. She then worked in Hospice Care for a year. She has been a part of the Parent Care Management Services team for 3 years. Ranah has a passion for working with the elderly and often says “I thoroughly enjoy listening to the amazing stories of the elderly; they are a walking encyclopedia of information and history.” Ranah enjoys camping, watching the birds and listening to their noisy chatter. She loves walking along the river near her home, sitting on a rock and feeling the breeze blow across her face.
Lynne Groom Martin RN, has been in the nursing profession for over 26 years. She takes great pride in the fact that she comes from a family of nurses, as her mother is a nurse and grandmother was a nurse. Most of Lynne's experience has been in the acute care setting where she cared for patients on the medical and surgical floors. The past 6 yrs. she has been nursing in the field of home health. " I love seeing my clients in their own personal setting and getting to know them as the unique and special individuals that they are." Lynne is newly married and re-located to this area from Orange County. She loves spending her time with her husband, family and friends, enjoys gardening, reading and hunting for treasures at local antique stores.
Michelle Shepherd LVN, began working with seniors as a Care Giver in 2002. Michelle grauduated from Redlands Adult School, an accredited School of Nursing in 2009. She received awards for Clinical & perfect attendance. Michelle did her clinical work for 1 year at the VA Hospital & 3 months at Arrowhead Regional Hospital. She was born in Indonesia and became an American Citizen in 2009. Michelle is married with two beautiful children. She enjoys trips to the sunny shores of California.

Rebecca Follett - Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Human Resources
Becki has been a member of our team for 12+ years working to help our services run smoothly. Becki is the answer person. Previous to her time with PCMS, she was Yucaipa High School PTA bookkeeper. She is an alumna of Redlands High School. During her free time she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her loving husband and children. “I enjoy doing my part coordinating services for Parent Care clients.”
Diane Robinson – Executive Administration Asst.
Diane provides 14 years of administrative experience to give effective and comprehensive support to our team. Diane is adaptable to the changing situations and needs of our clients. Her prior job positions have been 9 years as CFO for Real Estate Development Corp. and 20+ years working in property management. Her 94 yr. old father has been a client of ours for the past 5 years. “I was inspired to join Parent Care and support their efforts in assisting senior care.” Diane enjoys traveling and painting.
