CEO Carolyn Michaelis-Moe, BSN, MPA

Carolyn Michaelis-Moe, BSN, MPA,
has an extensive history in the health care profession. She earned a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Health Care from Golden Gate University, San Francisco and has worked in Home Care and Hospice for many years. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia Union College. While working in Home Care and Hospice, Carolyn identified many needs of her patients that were not addressed by Medicare reimbursed programs. In 1992, Carolyn founded Parent Care Management Services, evolving into a team of professionals, consisting of Registered Nurses and Social Workers, as well as experienced administrative assistants who all work together to take care of any and all details of their client’s lives. As CEO of Parent Care Management Services, Carolyn brings an extensive amount of knowledge & understanding of the field of geriatric care management. In 2009, Carolyn earned a certification from the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.

Carolyn Michaelis-Moe values memberships in the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Inland Association for Continuity of Care, Inland Empire Estate Planning Council and is a board member of the local California Care Planning Council. Parent Care Management Services Inc offers preceptorships to nursing students from Loma Linda University and provides them with multiple learning experiences.

Carolyn enjoys gardening, singing, and caring for her Basset Hound rescue dogs.


staff - Stuart Swann MSW, MDiv

Stuart Swann MSW, MDiv, joined the Parent Care team in June 2013. He has provided intensive casework intervention and management services in elder care and special needs situations, in Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, and California for over 30 years. Stuart is also an active, ordained minister with over 10 years in parish ministry and volunteer hospice chaplaincy. He draws from this depth of experience to work effectively with individual, family, and organizational systems. Stuart enjoys working difficult situations, especially transitions in care and setting. He says, “ The beginning and conclusion of a successful intervention is to listen, and to act, in ways that the person(s) you are helping knows they are truly heard and respected!". Stuart enjoys photography, health & fitness, hiking and his grandchildren!

staff - Marcia E. Flood, MSG

Marcia E. Flood, MSG, is a combination of education and experience to be a Geriatric Care Manager. She received her Master’s degree from USC. Professionally she has worked in Home Health, Hospice, Home Infusion Therapy, and as a Geriatric Care Manager. She has been a Volunteer Ombudsman for the Office on Aging in San Bernardino County, and has also volunteered as a HICAP counselor. Marcia is a tremendous advocate for seniors. Working on behalf of seniors is not only her profession, but her passion!



Rebecca Follett - Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Human Resources
Becki has been a member of our team for 12+ years working to help our services run smoothly. Becki is the answer person. Previous to her time with PCMS, she was Yucaipa High School PTA bookkeeper. She is an alumna of Redlands High School. During her free time she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her loving husband and children. “I enjoy doing my part coordinating services for Parent Care clients.”

Abby Bagonis, Administrative Assistant
Abby has over 30 years experience with a diversified background working as an administrative assistant, legal secretary and project manager in corporate, non-profit and legal environments. Abby is detail orientated and her experience contributes to the coordination and success of our office assisting the needs of our clients. “I grew up listening and learning from the wisdom of my grandfather and I have great respect for seniors. It is rewarding to know that working at Parent Care Management Services allows me to assist in the care of our senior community.” Abby is a native New Yorker who enjoys gardening, classical music and taking care of her four legged children.

Erin Bouley, RHIA, Administrative Assistant
Erin started working for PCMS in 2011 and has continued to work for parent care while going to school. She recently graduated from Loma Linda University, with a degree in Health Information Management. During her free time she loves spending time with her husband and their pets.
